Speed
One-dimensional longitudinal ventilation model: the tunnel air is treated as a single mass, its speed found by balancing the push of traffic (the piston effect), jet fans and outside pressure against wall friction, and the dust carried by that flow is computed along the tunnel. Eddies within the cross-section and the exhaust plume right behind a vehicle are not modelled. Use the numbers for trends.
